Nicky Byrne reveals first performance of new single

Nicky Byrne has shared exciting news about when fans will hear the new Westlife single. 

While we knew the four lads were recording new music alongside preparing for their reunion tour, the band had yet to reveal when we’d get a chance to hear their first single since the split in 2012. Now, Nicky Byrne has confirmed that the single will be performed on BBC ’s The Graham Norton Show on 11 January and we can’t wait. 

He also revealed that Westlife will release a new album next year and fans of the boyband are thrilled with the news.

The RTE presenter shared the news on social media alongside a photo of the four lads standing in front of microphones. 

“Here we go again. Having just announced two Cardiff dates, that brings the Twenty Tour to 32 shows so far across Ireland & Uk, A brand new album coming after 8years in 2019! But.. it all kicks off on The Graham Norton Show on January 11th” he captioned the snap. 

Many fans took to Twitter to say they were “excited” by the new album and the photo of the lads in the studio.

“What a sight. Love seeing the foursome back together again behind the mics” wrote one. “This picture is the best thing ever! I'm so happy to see the four of you together recording and rehearsing again. Can't wait to hear the new single!!!” said another.

Tickets for the boyband’s reunion tour went on sale in October and quickly sold out after it was confirmed that Shane Filan, Kian Egan , Mark Feehily and Nicky Byrne would be performing together again.
